A proposed side and front extension to a three bedroom detached house together with a new covered entrance. The extension was sited on a narrow strip of garden to the side of the property. This provided the accommodation required without compromising the established garden space to the front and rear. The plan was carefully designed to maximise the available space but to also maintain access and not compromise the neighbouring property. Planning was secured following lengthy discussions and negotiations with the local Planning Authority to demonstrate that the proposals would have no impact on the immediate neighbours views and light. Solar studies were produced in order to demonstrate no overshadowing would be produced.

The proposals address the limitations of the existing property and convert it to a four bedroom property with modern space standards.
